GO Holiday Website

I worked with GO Transit to design a user journey through a quaint, snow-covered town on the way to Christmas Day. Styled after an Advent calendar to encourage repeated visits, this heavily illustrated site was designed specifically to evoke a feeling: the warmth, contentedness, joy and familiarity of a mid-holiday-season evening with family.

As part of a large-scale promotion and contest, the site revealed new “stops” on the days leading up to Christmas. Each stop would be associated with a puzzle clue which, all taken together, would allow for a customer to solve a larger puzzle and win a prize.

The site was built in HTML5 with simple animation and festive custom illustration.
